WATCH: Anna Wintour as Comedy Icon; Critiques Met Gala Attendees’ Fashion

Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue, let loose and showed her comedic side as she sat down with Seth Meyers on “Late Night with Seth Meyers”.

In this hilarious clip, Wintour is revealed as the hard-to-please producer and the genius behind Meyers show. She approves all the jokes, delivers harsh criticisms on sketches and even turned the entire team’s office into a fashion show (demanding writers and staffers to wear ball gowns and tuxuedos).

The fashion queen delivers her verdict and critiqued the 2015 Met Gala attendees when Meyers showed her pictures of some celebrities. Yes, Rihanna’s Guo Pei couture dress is “one not to forget! And if you think Anne Hathway’s Ralph Lauren bizarre hoodie-dress is out of this world, she reveals that it was inspired by a Chinese artist who designs modern punk!

And what about George Clooney? Well, he doesn’t have to wear anything.

She announced her retirement from the catwalk last month, but Gisele Bundchen is still completely visible and pretty much the supermodel bombshell everyone adores.

To celebrate her 20th year as the highest paid supermodel in the world, the Brazilian bombshell poses in her birthday suit for the May 2015 covers of Vogue Brazil. And boy, if Gisele goes naked, everyone pays attention!

While celebratiing her retirement on top of the modelling world, the cover also coincides with Vogue Brazil’s 40th year anniversary. Gisele is featured in five visually stunning spreads in the magazine along the theme of the four elements – air, water, fire and earth. The 34-year old and mother of two, was photographed in a black and white image by famed fashion duo Inez & Vinoodh.

In her interview for the magazine (translated from Portuguese), Gisele says, “When the idea to do something special with Vogue to celebrate my 20-year career and 40th of the magazine, I knew I did not want to do something that was just fashion. I wanted to show something else, something that was part of my essence.”

As for her retirement from the runway, according to a recent statement from her agent, Gisele completely bowed down from Brazilian catwalk but still open to lend her beautiful face on advertising campaigns and exclusive runway assignments for major fashion week.

Vogue May 2015 covers, the best so far!

Celebrities and one-third of the fashion world will clamp their claws on next month’s Costume Institute Gala (Met Ball). (more stories on the 2015 Met Ball, later) and it is such a relief knowing that Anna Wintour bailed out of any Kardashian/Jenner clans on her magazine.

For the meantime, i present to you the cream of the crop of the fashion bible’s covers for May 2015.

Carey Mulligan, the Oscar-nominated British actress takes on US Vogue for the third time, looking ravishing as ever. Rihanna sizzles for some daring shots inside Vogue Brasil with back-to-back covers. Emilia Clarke gives chill to all Game of Thrones fans out there, in haute couture collections for Vogue UK.

Vogue Paris stands out from the rest, it features Liya Kebede, the Ethiopian-born model, designer and philanthropist as the first woman of color to appear on the magazine’s cover in half a decade. (Kudos to Fashion Gone Rogue for pointing this out).

Anna Wintour puts another shitty cover in the history of Vogue (remember the Kim Kardashian and Kanye West cover that made headlines, made Vogue tons of money, and a “tasteless people” comment by La Wintour herself). For the February 2015 issue of the fashion bible, Dakota Johnson, the star of “Fifty Shades of Grey”, looks effortlessly bored on the cover.Vogue used to be a force in the industry but sadly, it become a trendy and expensive version of Cosmopolitan. An exciting news for the fashion herds, Tom Ford may reclaim his former throne at Gucci after an early exit of Gucci designer Frida Giannini and her partner, CEO Patrizio di Marco, Ford is in the running to take over, along with other prominent designers such as Heidi Slimane of Saint Laurent, Joseph Altuzarra, and Ricardo Tisci of Givenchy. This means WAR in the fashion world. (via Page Six)

Crazy over Game of Thrones? Girls and gays alike can’t get enough of Kit Harrington. The fashion world already took notice of Jon Snow’s smoldering, sexy good looks, as the face of Jimmy Choo’s men’s campaign for a second season. Women over 70 are the new fashion muse! Designer Phoebe Philo handpicked literary legend Joan Didion for Celine’s Spring 2015 campaign. Not to be upstaged, Saint Laurent’s Hedi Slimane tapped one of folk music’s greatest icons, Joni Mitchell, for Saint Laurent Music Project Spring 2015.

Sienna Miller covers Vogue, and tells us Why She’ll Never Be on Twitter.

Sienna Miller is the former it-girl everyone loved to hate. She is the arch-nemesis of Kate Moss when it comes to setting new trends, and one of the world’s most copied style icons.

The British actress graces the January 2015 issue of American Vogue- she talks about the joys of motherhood, her strings of high-profile movies, how she found Instagram “addictive” and why she will never be on Twitter.sienna-miller-january-2015-3

The fashion superstar adores being a mother to two-year-old Marlowe – her daughter with partner Tom Sturridge – and says she realised what was missing from her life when the little girl was born.

Sienna said: “I was overwhelmed by how normal it felt. It was like, ‘There you are — that’s what I have been missing.’ Like we’re both in on something only we know. An amazing sense of being complicit with a little being.”

Sienna Miller has been in a relationship with Tom, 29, for three years and the 32-year-old beauty loves the fact there is no “drama” in their lives.

She told Vogue: “Tom is a grounded, intelligent, kind, and intact person. That’s amazing to be around. That’s the father of my child. There’s no drama.”

On her short-lived affair with Instagram and why she won’t sign-up for Twitter: “It was the most addictive thing,” she says of Instagram. “Every morning I’d wake up and there would be a thousand more followers or whatever and there would be these amazing greetings like ‘Welcome! We love you!’ ” She laughs nervously. “I’d be inflated by this nonexistent, intangible love. I was like, ‘I need to get off this.’ But it only lasted for five days.

Tweeting. I find it weird, that word. It just sounds babyish. There’s something so ridiculous.” she tells Vogue.

American Sniper, a gripping real-life story of the late decorated U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, starring Bradley Cooper as Kyle and directed by the flinty American icon Clint Eastwood. Unfinished Business, a comedy with Vince Vaughn, and the Boston-mobster sagaBlack Mass, with Miller the moll to Johnny Depp’s Whitey Bulger.  Mississippi Grind, with indie auteurs Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, and High-Rise, a J. Alexander Wang capsule collections for H&M takes flight!

Alexander Wang x H&M.

It was an orgy of mass nostalgia that evokes hardcore sportswear, at its chicest form. Wang designed the basics for extreme workout clothes which includes strappy dresses fitted like Marie Antoinette’s corsets, boxy neoprene sweatshirts, parkas as chic as the Megeve slopes, and stretchy leggins previously seen on Rihanna.

“Almost everything was black and most of it was emblazoned with Wang’s blocky logo with references to sports.”

It was star-studded with celebrities in attendance including Jessica Chastain, Dakota Fanning, Eddie Redmayne, Kate Mara, Mary J. Blige and that girl named Solange Knowles. Thank goodness, the Kardashians are nowhere to be seen.

The collections will be available at all H&M stores worldwide on November 6.
