Victoria Beckham on the August 2015 cover of Vogue Australia

About a decade ago, Posh Spice was the embodiment of everything wrong about being always in fashion. We can all pretty say that in the years leading up to her Spice Girls days and as the ultimate queen of WAGS, she made fashion too dangerous, that even Hermes “Birkin” bag had become less desirable as a result of being de rigueur among WAGs in Baden-Baden. Take note, Kim Kardashian!

Victoria Beckham reinvented herself. Now, all  she has to do is to kiss those bad fashion choices goodbye!

The fashion designer appears on the cover of Vogue Australia’s August issue. Looking regally chic, she was photographed by Patrick Demarchelier wearing a black-and-white print Louis Vuitton dress from the label’s Fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection. With her hair in a messy style, and a fresh-faced makeup look, Victoria keeps her beauty look minimal. In her interview, she tells the magazine about her business, family and more.

The latest issue of Vogue Australia will be on newsstands next Monday.

Kit Harrington gives us a glimpse of our leather fantasies looking sexy for June/July 2015 edition of Out Magazine. The photo shoot was captured by Nino Muñoz with styling by Grant Woolhead. The British hunk is looking rough and cool in bomber jackets, denim and leather.

The Game of Thrones star defended his statement when he recently complained about him being seen as a sexual object. He received a backlash by making a bold statement that it is “demeaning” to be called a hunk.

Well, Jon Snow, you are a HUNK!

Jennifer Lawrence is making Hollywood’s big bosses sick after she successfully negotiated a $20 million salary per film (first for her upcoming movie with Chris Pratt, Passengers), joining an exclusive club of super A-list actors and actresses who commanded a salary upward of $15-$25 million. Thanks to leaked emails from Sony, and partly because Charlize Theron (Lawrence and Theron are both Dior ambassadors) engineered a $10m rise to put her on par with co-star Chris Hemsworth for the Snow White prequel.

Lawrence star will shine even more brighter. The ‘Hunger Games’ star gets her closeup as she was named the new face of Dior Addict makeup line, extending her contract for another 3 years and a reported $15 million salary for the French luxury brand.

Dior announced on Tuesday that in addition to appearing in campaigns for the French house ready to wear line, Be Dior and Miss Dior handbags, Lawrence will also front the Dior Addict makeup line. As part of her new contract, she will appear in print ads and television commercials.

She announced her retirement from the catwalk last month, but Gisele Bundchen is still completely visible and pretty much the supermodel bombshell everyone adores.

To celebrate her 20th year as the highest paid supermodel in the world, the Brazilian bombshell poses in her birthday suit for the May 2015 covers of Vogue Brazil. And boy, if Gisele goes naked, everyone pays attention!

While celebratiing her retirement on top of the modelling world, the cover also coincides with Vogue Brazil’s 40th year anniversary. Gisele is featured in five visually stunning spreads in the magazine along the theme of the four elements – air, water, fire and earth. The 34-year old and mother of two, was photographed in a black and white image by famed fashion duo Inez & Vinoodh.

In her interview for the magazine (translated from Portuguese), Gisele says, “When the idea to do something special with Vogue to celebrate my 20-year career and 40th of the magazine, I knew I did not want to do something that was just fashion. I wanted to show something else, something that was part of my essence.”

Sandra Bullock named People Magazine’s 2015 “World’s Most Beautiful Woman”

It takes a lot of guts, talent and a charming personality to be “America’s Sweetheart”. And Sandra Bullock is the sum of all things beautiful, having anointed by People Magazine as the most beautiful woman in the world for 2015.

The Oscar-winning actress (and the highest paid actress in Hollywood…and the world!) has joined the ranks of many actresses who claimed the title including last year’s cover girl and Oscar winner, Lupita Nyong’o, and Gwyneth Paltrow in 2013.

sandra-bullock-people-most-beautiful

Bullock, at 50 years old, is the oldest to be named on the list and proves that age is nothing but a number. She was photographed on the cover  by Cliff Watts and dismiss the whole process of being named the most beautiful as “ridiculous” and that true beauty is unassuming.

“Real beauty is quiet. Especially in this town, it’s just so hard not to say, ‘Oh, I need to look like that,’ “ she told People. “No, be a good person; be a good mom; do a good job with the lunch; let someone cut in front of you who looks like they’re in a bigger hurry. The people I find most beautiful are the ones who aren’t trying.”

Vogue May 2015 covers, the best so far!

Celebrities and one-third of the fashion world will clamp their claws on next month’s Costume Institute Gala (Met Ball). (more stories on the 2015 Met Ball, later) and it is such a relief knowing that Anna Wintour bailed out of any Kardashian/Jenner clans on her magazine.

For the meantime, i present to you the cream of the crop of the fashion bible’s covers for May 2015.

Carey Mulligan, the Oscar-nominated British actress takes on US Vogue for the third time, looking ravishing as ever. Rihanna sizzles for some daring shots inside Vogue Brasil with back-to-back covers. Emilia Clarke gives chill to all Game of Thrones fans out there, in haute couture collections for Vogue UK.

Vogue Paris stands out from the rest, it features Liya Kebede, the Ethiopian-born model, designer and philanthropist as the first woman of color to appear on the magazine’s cover in half a decade. (Kudos to Fashion Gone Rogue for pointing this out).

It is hardly unlikely that anyone worth their cheap reality shows viewing adventures are taking notes on how to become famous for being famous, then turned it into a lucrative family business. Notes: The Kardashian family ruled the social media circuit.

Reality star turned model-of-the-moment Kendall Jenner, lands the May 2015 cover of GQ Magazine. The social media star  talks about her modelling career, constant paparazzi frenzy and her soon-to-be-father/mother- Bruce Jenner. She wears a white Adriana Degreas bikini and Calvin Klein denim jacket in the photos snapped by Steven Klein.

Not to be upstaged, Kylie Jenner, the 17-year-old sister of Kendall, glammed up for Teen Vogue

She is known for her make-up selfies shared to her over 19 million Instagram followers. And trust me, she talks about her beauty routine on the accompanying interview.

Blimey!

POWER WOMEN: SJP, Michelle Obama and Kerry Washington unite for an important cause

Glamour Magazine pull out all the stops for its May 2015 issue. The fashion magazine brings together the triumvirate of female power and style, First Lady Michelle Obama and actresses Kerry Washington and Sarah Jessica Parker, for a photo shoot with famed photographer  Patrick Demarchelier.

The trio had known each other and been friends for years while working for the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities. Though Glamour is a fashion magazine, they gathered not to talk about fashion, but to spread a crucial message in helping women in the armed forces including veterans and military wives.

Joining forces for a cause!

Joining forces for a cause!

The First Lady has long been an advocate for veterans, primarily through Joining Forces , an initiative she launched in 2011 with Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden, whose sons have served in the Army National Guard and the Navy Reserve, which supports each military families through wellness, education, and employment programs. Washington’s father served in the military before she was born, and Parker has many friends in uniform.
