Lady Gaga has 36 wedding dresses! And she hasn’t announced it yet.

Lady Gaga is one hot fashion hit and miss. The “Born This Way” hitmaker is known for her ostentatious red carpet fashion, from wearing a meat dress to a walking-talking Kermit the frog. As crazy as one might think she is, her fashion antics made her a bonafide fashion icon.

When actor Taylor Kinney popped the question to Mother Monster on Valentine’s Day, fashion designers began sending Gaga congratulatory notes and air-kisses became competitive. Tongues began wagging and the question on everyone’s mind, Who would design the dress for the wedding?

“It will be totally for Taylor,”  Gaga exclusivley told WWD of her wedding dress. “It’s all about my man. I haven’t really thought about anything specific yet but whatever it is, it will be totally for him.”

WWD asked some high profile designers to design a dress they fancy for Lady Gaga, the Mother Monster of everything outrageous, scandalous, fantastical, and majestic.

On Wednesday, WWD released 36 sketches of wedding regalia submitted by the world’s most famous designers, exclusively for the “bride of the decade”. And Lady Gaga was SPEECHLESS!

Browse through the photos below and head over to WWD for the rest. Prepare to be stunned!

Amanda Seyfried lands first Vogue cover; Kit Harrington hotness overload for Out Magazine

Amanda Seyfried star for June 2015 issue of Vogue US

Amanda Seyfried star for June 2015 issue of Vogue US

Amanda Seyfried had us at hello. After starring in a dozen of acclaimed films these past few years, she is hard at work fighting to keep herself away from the spotlight and she almost succeed. Now, she’s making a big splash and if you want to get the whole world’s attention (Keeping Up with the Kardashian is a big NO!) better do it in VOGUE.

The “TED 2” actress lands her first Vogue cover for June 2015 and she is looking every inch a Hollywood A-list and fashion star wearing her famous locks (blonde, of course!), sporting berry lips and a blue mini dress with mesh detailing from Dior. The image was captured by famed photographer Mario Testino.

Now, to all the gay men all over world waiting for the perfect moment for Jon Snow to bare it all in Game of Thrones, chances are so thin we are all going bald!

Kit Harrington gives us a glimpse of our leather fantasies looking sexy for June/July 2015 edition of Out Magazine. The photo shoot was captured by Nino Muñoz with styling by Grant Woolhead. The British hunk is looking rough and cool in bomber jackets, denim and leather.

The Game of Thrones star defended his statement when he recently complained about him being seen as a sexual object. He received a backlash by making a bold statement that it is “demeaning” to be called a hunk.

Well, Jon Snow, you are a HUNK!

Sarah Jessica Parker teases for a third Sex and the City movie!

Carrie-on???

Is it too early to say Carrie-on? But, at least for now, there’s more reason to run in Manolo’s and cheers our cosmos!

Sarah Jessica Parker recently posted a photo of herself looking very Carrie Bradshaw-esque leaving her millions of Instagram followers in pandemonium. The actress was seen carrying a Bloomingdale’s bag (Carrie is big fan of Bloomingdales!) and wearing a skin-tight white dress which is very similar to Carrie Bradshaw’s promo pic in Sex and the City 2.

SJP captioned the image: “Well. I guess the cat’s out of the (little brown) bag. As usual, we will keep you posted on every detail as we are able. I’m under strict gag order until then. Xx, Sj.”

What do you think? Are the ladies planning a fashionable comeback?

Sandra Bullock named People Magazine’s 2015 “World’s Most Beautiful Woman”

It takes a lot of guts, talent and a charming personality to be “America’s Sweetheart”. And Sandra Bullock is the sum of all things beautiful, having anointed by People Magazine as the most beautiful woman in the world for 2015.

The Oscar-winning actress (and the highest paid actress in Hollywood…and the world!) has joined the ranks of many actresses who claimed the title including last year’s cover girl and Oscar winner, Lupita Nyong’o, and Gwyneth Paltrow in 2013.

sandra-bullock-people-most-beautiful

Bullock, at 50 years old, is the oldest to be named on the list and proves that age is nothing but a number. She was photographed on the cover  by Cliff Watts and dismiss the whole process of being named the most beautiful as “ridiculous” and that true beauty is unassuming.

“Real beauty is quiet. Especially in this town, it’s just so hard not to say, ‘Oh, I need to look like that,’ “ she told People. “No, be a good person; be a good mom; do a good job with the lunch; let someone cut in front of you who looks like they’re in a bigger hurry. The people I find most beautiful are the ones who aren’t trying.”

After this year’s Oscar, the most important society event on every A-list celebrities and hardcore fashionistas calendar will be this year’s Costume Institute Gala (or most commonly referred to as the Met Gala).

But before the biggest fashion reveal on May 4, a collaboration between Costume Institute and the Metropolitan Museum’s Department of Asian Art, headed by its curator, Andrew Bolton, will stage an exhibition “China: Through the Looking Glass”, which explore the impact of Chinese aesthetics on Western fashion and how China has fueled the fashionable imagination for centuries.

In a press release from the Met Museum’s website, Bolton commented: “From the earliest period of European contact with China in the 16th century, the West has been enchanted with enigmatic objects and imagery from the East, providing inspiration for fashion designers from Paul Poiret to Yves Saint Laurent, whose fashions are infused at every turn with romance, nostalgia, and make-believe,” he added, “Through the looking glass of fashion, designers conjoin disparate stylistic references into a fantastic pastiche of Chinese aesthetic and cultural traditions.”

It was previously announced that Jennifer Lawrence, Chinese actress Gong Li, Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer, Wendi Murdoch and Anna Wintour will serve as co-chairs for this year’s gala. Silas Chou will be the Honorary Chair together with acclaimed filmmaker Wong Kar-wai serving as artisitc director.

A sneak peek of the stunning “China: Through the Looking Glass” exhibition is shown below, which includes a show-stopping hot pink silk gown that John Galliano created for Christian Dior in 1998. Other designers too fabulous to mention (but will write them anyway) who were chosen to exhibit their couture creations includes Tom Ford for Yves Saint Laurent, Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood, and  the 2011 MET gala honoree Alexander McQueen.

Burberry’s “London in Los Angeles”: A star-studded affair

Burberry-the-show-9-Vogue-17Apr15-pr_b_646x430

It was a starry, starry night in Los Angeles.

BURBERRY was the toast of the night- amidst a glittering array of Hollywood A-listers, fashion bigwigs, and the unofficial First Family of fashion, the Beckhams- as the British fashion powerhouse staged a “London in Los Angeles” catwalk show at the venerable Griffith Park Observatory.

The Beckham clan made it a family affair, front row with Anna Wintour.

Christopher Bailey, CEO and creative director, stage a garden party and special one-off runway show featuring Burberry’s autumn/winter 2015 collection. The event coincided with the opening of Burberry’s imposing new four-storey flagship – one of the tallest on Rodeo Drive – where Bailey hosted a cocktail party on its rooftop the night before.

The First Battalion Grenadier Guards was flown-in from London, for an epic finale.

The Griffith Park Observatory, known for its space and science exhibits, was packed with VIP’s that includes Victoria and David Beckham and thier adorable children (who literally stole the front-row seats, sitting next to La Wintour) ,  Anna Wintour, Elton John and husband David Furnish, James Corden, January Jones, Rachel Zoe, Mila Kunis, Rosie Huntington Whiteley and boyfriend Jason Statham, Cara Delevingne, Mario Testino, and campaign stars, Jourdan Dunn and Naomi Campbell.

James Corden received an standing ovation, seen here with campaign stars Naomi and Jordan Dunn, with Christopher Bailey for the final bow.

It also brought in some heavy-hitters with performances from singers George Ezra, Tom Odell, Clare Maguire, and Benjamin Clementine, but the spotlight belonged to the  Queen’s very own Horse Guards, flown in especially for the show.

Talking to Vogue post show, Bailey revealed “It took a lot of work and discussion, but we really wanted to bring a little bit of London to LA and so to be able to have them here in Los Angeles is very special for us.”

“All the elements came together in the end to create something pretty big,” added Bailey.

Oscar weekend is underway, with the industry out in force ahead of awards season’s biggest night.

But this year’s pre-Oscar official soiree is not one which was hosted by that bear-looking daddy called Harvey Weinstein, or WORST, the shindig you intentionally organized at your neighboring Mcdonalds. HAHAHA!

A night before the Oscar’s, Tom Ford made history by hosting his fall 2015 show in Los Angeles instead of his usual London, a move seen by many insiders as a game changer in L.A fashion scene. And, if celebrity attendees are what it takes to make a show relevant these days, minus the reality stars and wannabes, then L.A is poised to become the next big fashion destination for both the glitterati and fashion industry heavyweights.

“I’m showing to a roomful of entertainers,” says Ford. “Of the 500 [guests], 270 were in the entertainment industry. I’d better give them some showmanship. I thought, It never snows in Los Angeles. Let’s make it snow rose petals.”

Hollywood’s biggest celebrities including Julianne Moore (Tom Ford’s muse), Scarlett Johansson, Amy Adams, Gwyneth Paltrow and Reese Witherspoon showed up despite their busy schedules ahead of the Academy Awards. Music superstars and other A-list celebrities are also in attendance; Jay-Z and Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lopez,  Elton John, and John Legend were all sitting front row.

Then, there’s the powerful fashion editors headed by Anna Wintour, Joanna Coles, and Joe Zee who flew in to support Mr. Ford. He also booked models like Karlie Kloss who closed the show and Joan Smalls who both bound off a significant part of London fashion week just to walk in his show.

The center of it all were his designs. There were fitted sequin dresses, ample fringe, patchwork denim, and lots of inky black leather, all very reminiscent of the 70’s.
