2015 BAFTA Awards Nominations

One of the biggest and most prestigious award giving bodies, the BAFTA, announced its line-up for the 2015 awards ceremony.

Bristish comedian Stephen Fry was joined by actor Sam Claflin to read out this year’s hopefuls on Friday morning, ahead of the BAFTA ceremony on February 8.

As expected, Wes Anderson’s stylised comedy film, The Grand Budapest Hotel leads the way at the EE British Academy Film Awards in 2015, with 11 nominations in total.

A pack of British talents are leading this year’s award race with impressive takes from A-listers such as Keira Knightley, Rosamund Pike, Benedict Cumberbatch, Eddie Redmayne, and Felicity Jones. All of them have scored several nominations in every award giving bodies in Hollywood, and are expected to dominate this year’s Oscar.

Sia fires back at “pedophilia” tags on ELASTIC HEART video.

Sia responds to endless naysayers tagging her latest music video for “ELASTIC HEART” with “pedophilia”. Her latest single’s music video stars 28-year old actor Shia LaBeouf and Maddie Ziegler, age 12  (who also starred in her mega-hit “CHANDELIER” video and appeared on The Ellen Show), both shown wearing nude bodysuits while trapped in a bird cage,  fighting with each other for a way out showing the intentions to show the (the singer and the lyrics) conflicting personalities.

Sia responded to those people on Twitter late Wednesday night, explaining why her video couldn’t be any other way.

The hitmaker states, “I anticipated some ‘pedophelia!!!’ Cries for this video. All I can say is Maddie and Shia are two of the only actors I felt could play” and added, “These two warring ‘sia’ self states.” She further added, “I apologize to those who feel triggered by #ElasticHeart My intention was to create some emotional content, not to upset anybody.”

The gay community together with the Washington Post predicted it would be Neil Patrick Harris, while Vanity Fair Hollywood rallied for Chris Pratt! But, at last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, it was announced that THOR actor Chris Hemsworth, is People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive. He even participated on a Skype video call with the host  where guessing game ensued until he finally revealed himself. Oh yeah!

Judging by the photos below, it would have been tough luck for other contenders. They all get HAMMERED!

‘This is based on an IQ test and not just physical appearance,’ he jokingly said, while gesturing to his impressive physique, he added he’d like to thank ‘my parents for putting this together’.
‘I learned everything there is about being sexy from Matt – pursing the lips, squinting at the right time,’ pertaining to his good friend, Matt Damon . ‘Thank you Matt and all the other previous intelligent men.’

Chris told People he thought it was ‘pretty funny’ that he won, and said his wife of four years Elsa Pataky felt the same way.

GQ “Men of the Year” 2014 covers revealed. Chris Pratt is just AWESOME!

This the year of a few good men. GQ Men of the Year 2014 honorees includes Chris Pratt (the funniest guy and the year’s SUPERHERO!), Shailene Woodley, Ansel Elgort, funny man Steve Carrell, openly gay NFL star Michael Sam, and Dave Chapelle.

The magazine profiles Hollywood’s funny superhero Chris Pratt, who became the year’s most successful actor at the box office. He starred in two of the biggest movies this year—The Lego Movie and Guardians of the Galaxy, the latter which cemented his status as one of Hollywood’s most-sought after leading men.

The Parks and Recreation actor will next star in Jurassic World due out next year and he’s on board for another Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
